Privacy policy

Effective: August 10, 2026

Who we are

All The Damn Tools is run by Steven Irby, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. Questions about this policy? Reach us through the contact form.

No accounts, no profiles

There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no account data: no names, no emails, no passwords, no profiles. Tools marked “runs entirely in your browser” process everything on your device — what you type, paste, or open there is never sent to us.

Tools that fetch a URL

Some tools check a live URL you supply (the ones without the browser badge). For those, our server fetches that URL once and caches the response briefly (minutes) so repeat checks don't hammer the target site. The URL is not stored beyond that cache and is not linked to you.

Analytics

Yes, we count visits. We use cookie-free, aggregate analytics (Plausible, served through our own domain) to see how many people visit each page and how often each tool gets used. A page view sends the page URL, the referrer, your browser type, scroll depth, and time on page; a tool interaction sends the tool's name and the action taken (“copy”, “download”, or that it hit an error) — never what you typed, pasted, or uploaded. There are no cookies, no persistent identifiers, and no cross-site anything. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell data.

Where things run

The site runs on Cloudflare's network. There is no user database. Operational logs (standard web-server logs) are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the service.

Your rights

Since we don't hold personal data about you, there's usually nothing to request — but if you believe we hold something, send a message through the contact form and we'll answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will note the change here with a new effective date. August 10, 2026: expanded the Analytics section to spell out exactly which fields the analytics sends.
